As an alternative celebratory present, why not ask your family or friends to make a difference on your special day by:

• Raising money online by setting up a Just Giving page and asking friends to donate to it.
• Holding a collection on your birthday by using our donation boxes and envelopes.
• Send our donation cards to your friends and family asking them to make a donation to Alder Hey rather than buying you gifts. They can return the card with a donation directly to us and we'll thank them on your behalf. A couple of months after your celebration we'll let you know how much has been raised altogether.

• Using our personalised wedding favour cards on your tables and make your wedding truly memorable by donating to Alder Hey.

Don't forget anniversaries, christenings, retirement and Christmas are all wonderful opportunities for your friends and family to make a huge difference to the lives of so many young children, by donating to Alder Hey instead of buying gifts.

Donating to the Alder Hey Children's Charity is a unique way of thanking guests for celebrating your big day and is the perfect alternative to the traditional wedding favours. All we ask is that you make a minimum suggested donation of £3 per guest.

To order your wedding favours, which includes our pin badge, please complete the attached registration form or email Helen.hughes@alderhey.nhs.uk specifying whether you would prefer cream or white favours, the names of the happy couple, the date of the wedding and the quantity required. Please allow a minimum of 14 days before your wedding to order them.
